Welcome to Alter London, an eco-conscious slow fashion brand dedicated to creating stylish, minimalist handbags and accessories using renewable and innovative sustainable textiles.

​Monica, the founder and maker behind Alter London, launched the brand out of a passion for creating easy-to-wear accessories that are kind to animals and the planet. Since 2020, the brand has been using renewable and innovative sustainable plant-based textiles throughout their collections. These textiles lead to far less waste than animal leather or plastic based leather alternatives (ie. PU, PVC), meaning less landfill waste, less energy consumption and less impact on the environment. To further reduce the brand's environmental impact, all their items are either made to order or produced in small batches to avoid over production. The brand originated in London, UK, and is now based in Portugal, where all their items are made.
